The 40-Hour Industrial Emergency Response – Technician (40T) course is specifically designed for workers who are involved in clean-up operations, voluntary clean-up operations, emergency response operations, and storage, disposal, or treatment of hazardous substances or uncontrolled hazardous waste sites. Overall Learning Objectives: Motivating workers to use safe work practices • Investigating accidents • Monitoring for hazardous conditions • Site control • Personal protective equipment • Handling the media • OSHA inspections • Safety and health plans • Synthesize information for problem-solving • Assess critical behaviors.
